neil malcolmson
New van...all mod cons site..Sandyballs in the new forest, a little over your 50 miles but a superb site,if a little pricey.
Mel B
Enjoy your new toy! If you're in one of the main camping clubs why not try looking for a CL or a CS, usually very reasonably priced, and in some lovely locations, plus you'll have plenty of time to play with you van and not be a spectator sport for those on a large camp site. Guest Tracker
On the other hand a large club site would have all mod cons and, hopefully, a helpful and maybe even knowledgeable manager/warden if your new van does not quite act as it should? The Decorator
Half a mile directly inland from Brighton Marina is Sheepcote Valley CC site, open all year, adjacent to the race course and the Downs for walking, also walking distance to the sea and shops and Superstore by the Marina. Good fishing off the harbour wall. Buses into Brighton or walk to the Marina, then turn right and westwards along the seashore or the quiet Medina Drive road to Palace Pier and the town of Brighton, known for its Regency Palace and The Lanes, amongst other interests. Panorama Camera views are available all along Madera Drive so you can see views of where you might walk, they are also postioned right into the Marina complex.... and are also positioned right outside the CC entry road by pointing on camera in 3 Wilson Road. A better direction to the CC site avoiding the town is...from the A23 junction with the A27 go East towards Lewes. Turn off at the University site and follow signs to Woodingdean, when at W/D cross roads turn right following signs to the racecourse and Marina.
