Administrator Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 What is your number one piece of camping advice for people heading out with their tents this season?
CamperPete Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Always see the tent erected before you buy to make sure it's right for your needs.
Guest Tracker Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Never try and pitch a tent by car headlights, in the rain, in a gale - it will end in discomfort!
BeckyH Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Make a list before you go of everything you need to take. There is nothing worse then getting to your camp site and realising you have forgotten the pillows!

And take the list with you so that you can add the things that you now need but never knew you would ever need!
malc d Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Depends on their experience. If it's a first time I would suggest they don't camp at the bottom of a slope, and preferably not under trees. If they've been camping for 30 or 40 years I wouldn't try to give any advice at all. ;-)
