No it was filming for a TV series. Lots of passers-by got quite upset although there was a film crew there.

 

Either that or one of Tony's bad days.

I looked this up on Google, under L A R Recovery and as Janine says it was a TV stunt.

Trouble is so many people took it seriously that the recovery firm have had a lot of abusive calls from idiots who didn't bother to find out the facts.

 

(Still, we must never let the facts spoil a good rant must we ! )

Hi,

 

I was sitting in my car while Barbara has a lady-scan. Car drove up. parked in bus-stop bay, driver dashed into church. Bus rolled up, carefully parked as close to car as possible. Bus driver gets out examines the gap between bus and car. Climbs back into his bus, reverseses back the way he had come, then continues on his way. I got out examined front of car .... the front bumper had been wiped off. Deliberate?

 

When car driver returned, I gave him the reg of the bus. He said he didn't have a leg to stand on ..... and he had seen other buses fo the same thing.

Possibly - especially if there was a time limit on that street.

But then again, although I've been known to preach longer than expected I tend to regard those as GOOD days!
