howie
England to win 2-1 and then go on to lift the cup. Just think. Sir Wayne Rooney, Sir Stevie Gerrard, Sir John Terry. Brings a tear to your eye don,t it. Thought 'Kaka' was a crap name but 'Waldo Ponce', the Chilean defender, is up there with the best of them. Out thought, out played, and out of the competition, and deservedly so.
Syd
Why oh why did the bums have to win their previous game, had they lost as usual then we would have managed to avoid this the greatest humiliation we could suffer Make the bums WALK home

pkc
Left to Crouch down in the trench should have tried that little bit harder should have played a man with stronger legs should have played Douglas Bader. Hopefully this will be the last sporting reference to the last war.
LordThornber
A good point in my opinion, has just been made on the BBC 606 site. It says about how the England players, as soon as they're taken out of their Premiership sides, which of course are sprinkled with overseas players, just can't play to the levels required at the top. Capello can only work with what he's given can't he? Martyn
RogP
PRIDE , PASSION , DESIRE and UNITY All sadly missing with this current English team , I thought last week 'glad I'm not French' but now , at least they showed there was something wrong and did something about it (regardless if it was right or wrong) we'll only get some of the truth when John T or Stevie G bring out their biography in a couple of years time , which of course will hugely benefit them!! Nuf said , least I can watch the rest of the games as a neutral and enjoy some good football.
howie
My sentiments exactly Roger and time to move on with still some terrific games to look forward to. Disappointing to say the least, so let's give one last hurrah for Capello and his England team and enjoy the rest of the tournament. ................................ howie
Did get a e. bike Dave, and after seeing that picture, no more complaints on how uncomfortable the saddle is. Watching Argentina/Mexico last night and Brazil/Chile tonight it makes you realise just how far we are behind the rest of the world. Capello and the England team are getting a hard time at the moment, but time we all accepted we are now a third world nation in footballing terms with even teams lie Japan and South Korea light years ahead of us and set our expectations accordingly. Portugal V Spain is the game i'm now looking forward to and no love lost there, but looking more and more likely to be a Brazil V Argentina final, the two best teams on the planet. Forget memoir's and biographies. Film rights, that's where the big money is these days. .................

BGD
Oxo are introducing a new white Oxo cube with a red cross in support of the England team. It's called the Laughing Stock Apparently England are changing the 3 lions on the shirt to 3 tampons. A spokesman for the FA said this is to represent the worst period they have ever had. All future England matches have been moved to the Gay Adult Channel. Apparently the sight of 11 a**eholes getting hammered for 90 minutes was far too explict for ITV So an angry fan managed to get into the England changing room after last nights game. Robert Green tried to grab the man but missed. The England team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning – “it is so good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly struggling, failing and facing the impossible” said Sipho Umboto aged 6 All these Robert Green jokes are getting out of hand. In fact, they're crossing the line. Heskey's new position is left back.............left back at Heathrow Airport. England have turned down a massive £70 million sponsorship deal with a dog food company..........after it was realised that everyone would think it was really taking the piss if the team had "WINALOT" on the front of their shirts. Can't see Germany or Holland making it either and still looking like Argentina/Brazil, and that's a perfect finale for any world cup.
