Shell181
Hi Does anyknow please of any motorhomes that are 4/5 birth with a large rear u shaped lounge, overcab bed and bench seat opposite a half dinnette or no bench seat at all but a half dinnette or even a bench seat and no dinnette - is this making any sense lol. We love the large open feel of the u shaped lounges in the 4/5 births but they don't seem to have a dinnette? All the 6 births ones we have looked at all seem to have a small lounge obviously to accomodate the double dinnette thats makes into another bed. Almost forgot it has to be 3.5T or under (gross vehicle weight) Thanks Shell
Dinkydot
Are you looking new or used? Pilote's Aventura A656UA has a rear u-shaped lounge, overcab bed and half dinette up front and weighs in at 3.5-tonnes. However, if you do a quick search on the Buyers Guide (www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/buyersguide) , selecting HD RL (half dinette rear lounge) it should come up with a few models that have been made over the last couple of years. You can then compare up to three of these models side by side. Hope this helps...
RogP
have you looked at the CI or Rollerteam models , they have a rear lounge model but I think its with a double dinnette layout , I think the Rollerteam varient is on the Ford chassis as well. We nearly went for the Rollerteam version but finally found our Apache 700SE almost by chance and never got to the Rollerteam dealer.
Brian Kirby
For that layout, you will be looking for a motorhome that is 6.5 to 7.0 metres long. With a 3.5 tonne MAM, it will be unlikely to have sufficient payload to be practical. Your specification is for a 3,850kg vehicle on a 3,500kg chassis. Manufacturers do make such vehicles, and you may well find one for sale secondhand. The reason for sale is likely to be that the van just doesn't work!A client of ours, some years back, wanted a new building. My boss sent him a letter which contained two squares. The first, large, square was labelled "what you want". The second, much smaller square, was labelled "what your budget will buy". The client was grateful for the succinct advice! That is about where you are! :-S

Brian Kirby
I think that should be 3,400kg MAM John? Even so, 340kg payload on a 7 metre, six berth, van? Just two passengers would reduce that to 200kg! You sure it isn't over weight? :-)
flicka
Hi ShellGood & bad news. There is a motorhome that fits your spec, Rear lounge, Front half dinette with side sofa with 3500kg MAM.A Ford Transit based Trigano Tribute 720 (built by Autotrail @ Grimsby) Length 22'8"/6.96m. Sleeps 6 with 4 belted seats & with a reasonable payload of 650kg.http://www.tributemotorhomes.co.uk/tech/tech-spec-page.html BAD NEWS - it is a new 2010 model with a £36k price tag. Have you looked at any Autotrails, they have a factory option of having the offside front sofa replaced by forward facing seats with 2 belted. So although the standard spec will show double long sofa's there may be some with the factory Front Facing option. It also may be worth checking with Autotrail, if they fit this option retrospectively.
