Guest John
I found with Hymers, the more you paid the less value you had. The 4 ton S Classes, high cost, underpowered and under payload. The newer 6 ton has had numerous serious mechanical and electrical problems. Whereas the Fiat based B6' series offers much better value for money and better electrical and mechanical reliability. Guest Derek Uzzell
I've noticed this law applying when my wife buys shoes - the more expensive and snazzy they are the less practical and the quicker they have to be replaced because they become unfashionable (or so she tells me!) "What's wrong with sensible £10 wellingtons from B&Q?" I've asked, but, for some unfathomable reason, she still won't accept the logic of this. It's a funny old world. Guest Derek Uzzell
I tried that - agreed she could have any colour wellingtons she wanted. She said "Fine, but only if Jimmy Choo makes them".
