I am afraid our 'van' is a basic model but in many respects we are happier with that. We spend most of our time in Europe so a EU type van is more convenient and the hot sunny days mean most things are done outside. I assume you are having a motor mover fitted to the new van, if not, get one as it will make life so much easier. However, do check your payload as the mover 'swallows' 40 kg. An electric drill for the legs and life is a doddle. You will definitely notice the greater living space. You will also find the caravan is lower in heght than many coachbuilts and can fit under a 2.6 meter threshold on some ferries etc. We have just swopped our venerable Volvo S80 for a newer V70, now with diesel engine, so i can charge along as fast as limits will allow. I also get about 28 mpg towing so not too bad. So, why do i still drool over motorhomes? Don't know, must be a childhood thing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
