snail Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Hi all, just renewed our passports and are the biometric ones, wondering if any of you know weather we can scan them still, obviously without damaging the new technology in them, we have always in the past scanned all documents onto laptop and saved to a stick which stays with us, in case the worst happens we can still proove who we are etc thanks Brian Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actually this is the first year in 5 that our caravan and car was searched in Roscoff prior to coming home. Scanned / copied them before we went to France early Sept, and they allowed us back into GB again yesterday at Portsmouth with no queries, so there does not seem to be a problem.
