olley
Hi I am in the process of compiling an Autogas map for countries in Europe where its hard to get, see here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=218062938126361983489.000482dd938c5fab21b29&z=3 I am doing it mainly with RVer's like myself in mind, but thought it might be of interest to you guys with fixed tanks. The link below downloads (I hope) the google .kml file which you can convert how you please. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&vps=1&jsv=309c&msa=0&output=kml&msid=218062938126361983489.000482dd938c5fab21b29 Its a work in progress, and I am happy to add any you care to give me, especially Greece. In time I hope to add pictures to most of the entries, although at the moment only Scandinavia has got them Its on two pages, with most of Scandinavia on the second page. scramblers
Hi Ian, Thanks for the work you are doing. I will certainly be using the info on my Garmin SatNav. All SatNavs use POI files with a set file suffix ie .csv or .ov2, etc. Each SatNav manufacturer uses a different suffix. If you can convert one suffix into another suffix then, in theory, you can use any POI file designed for one SatNav to be used by any other manufacturer. POI Edit is a free download which very simply accomplishes this transformation http://www.poiedit.com/ If you have POI Edit already installed Ian's link will open into this programme and you can then save it as a file for your SatNav.
