Guest nick gillingham Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 Hi just wondered if you guys have any idea whats wrong with my fridge? it wont stay lit on gas and when i took the cover off the back to check it out, i see that the flame is burning out of 2 holes. the larger of the two looks like it probably shouldnt be flaming. it goes like this for about 30 seconds before cutting out. any response much appreciated thanks heaps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Bill Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 Hi Nick, This sounds positively dangerous. The gas must be leaking somewhere around the burner. You could try unscrewing the gas line from the burner and reconecting it again. There must be a leak somewhere. The flame at the proper burner probably is not hot enough to correctly operate the thermocouple and so the gas is simply cut off after a time.
