past issues of MMM.

As we have no one to pass them on to - "Billy no motorhoming mates" - we take out the bits that interest us - some site reviews, some techie stuff etc - put them in a ring binder and send the rest to be recycled. Seems a shame really but you can't keep stuff forever. Think they are a bit too specialised to interest the sick and worried well in a doctor's surgery! Hazel

Hi. hazel, that,s it!

What a good idea!

Because if you give a copy away, that is the one with the artice about sink smells or how to fit an aerial that you need to have a look at again.

I always knew that females were smarter than men!

best Wishes Dave and "Big olga"

When we moved here 7 years ago I lost track of the amount of removal boxes that were full to brimming with old MMMs, going back to the 80's.

Dave refused point blank to get rid of them.

There were also Gardening Mags and loads of interior design mags that admittedly were useful for our business but why keep so many for so long!!

A couple of years ago I said enough was enough and got rid of hundreds of the blinking things.

I do try and remember to cut out site reviews in MMM as they come in handy.

The deal was we would keep one years worth then get rid of them but somehow it doesn't seem to be working there are cupboards full of them aagain. I think there are probably about half dozen that are ones I have bought the rest are Daves.

Althopugh now a 'tugger' we had a motorhome for many years and was a regular reader of MMM from the days of John Hunt. I still buy it as many of the technical articles are also relevant to my 'shed' and I feel many of the so called 'caravan' magazines are poor. Of course the pile does mount up beside the bed. I also 'drool' over some of the outfits but would never get the mortgage to actually buy one. Once the pile gets too big to move I succumb and the lot gets put to the recycle bins at the supermarket.

I did have ideas of taking some to the local Doctor's surgery as that would be far more interesting than reading leaflets about Piles etc, but that is not allowed as they are 'dirty' and people may get an infection. With everybody coughing in there I suspect that is the least of the worries, but 'Elf an Safety have decreed.

Hi, Flicka, there could be a market for the old ones on E-Bay.

I have been trying to find information about my Motorhome/camper converted by Corvesgate in Bournemouth in 1980.

It [she] is a 1979 Mercedes Benz 2.4 diesel, automatic, left hand drive ,two berth van with toilet, shower, cooker, fridge ,catalitic heater, aircon on the roof, power steering, and disc brakes on the front!

The van was in the same family for 30 years!

It was mainly used for picnics! and kept in a barn.

Best Wishes, dave. P.s. She came to Northern Ireland in 1981.
