AndyB
Has anybody used the Peugeot On Line service Booking. I'm getting my 2 year old Boxer serviced next month. Quotes range from £60 to £330, depending on which dealeryou select from the menu. It seems very odd, and I think there must be a few flaws in the system, but I don't want to pay over the odds. flicka
Andy I have not seen this, but it looks interesting & may be useful for comparing servicing costs for Service Centres around owners area.Do you have a link?

flicka
Thanks for the link Martyn, BUT put my Registration in which correctly brought up Boxer model & returned "Sorry, your vehicle is not eligible for a Value Service booking. Please select a Premier Service."For that you have to e-mail each individual Dealer.GGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR................................. >:-(
LordThornber
Oh well you did better than me, it didn't even know my van, it should, it's in the system 8-) Martyn
AndyB
I thought £60 looked too good to be true as that wouldn't even cover the oil. Anyway I've contacted my local Peugeot dealer near Uxbridge who are now quoting £320, which includes oil & filter, diesel particle filter, fuel filter etc. As the van is only 2 years old, I'll get it stamped up with Peugeot. The value services only apply for Peugeots 4 years old plus.

Prices are almost always a lot lower than main dealers, and nowadays there's no requirement to have your servicing done at a Peugeot dealer...... alf
the link found my van quoted me £329 for a timing belt change with a choice of garages all at the same price. When I rang to check price I was told by service rep that the service manager said my van was not due for a belt change as it was due every 10 years Alf
David B
I tried http://www.peugeot.co.uk/service-booking/value/ but it could not find my vehicle using the registration. When I put in "Boxer" it asked for the "variant" and came up with upteen choices. I know I have a 2005 Autosleeper Nuevo ES with a 2.2 HDI engine, but how do I find out which Peugeot Boxer "variant" I have (?) The vehicle manual does not help a lot. though there are less choices. The 3400kg gross vehicle weight and 5400kg gross train weight on the Vin plate do not correspond to anything in the manual (!) Any suggestions (?) Guest Tracker
My van at 5 years old is not eligible either! For those in West Wales I can recommend Millforge Motors at Pembroke Dock who are very experienced commercial vehicle specialists and who used to charge about half of what the local Peugeot dealer charged. AndyB
Update. Had the van serviced last month at Marshalls in Newbury. Labour was £140 and parts £190. Total cost £330. This was the 1st service carried out at 2 years. 1 years warranty left to go. So far the Elddis Sunseeker 120 has been pretty well fautless. The only minor problem has been a dodgey connection on the toilet flush. Andy :-D :-D
