No experience but, assuming they might be bulky and liable to absorb water I have to wonder about how and where you store them when the awning is not use as well as mud and water issues?

Hello,

Got one, rolls up and fits on bike rack across back of van. Made of plastic and is "woven" as on web site shown above.

Protects grass, helps keep dirt out of van. (Like anything on muddy ground it will get muddy but will hose down.)

Not heavy......We like it, more than the usual rubberised "grass breathable eco mat" awning floor covering! - it is easier to clean and quicker to put away.

But, the choice is yours......

Agree wholeheartedly - it will "loose" fold too - carefully. Very easy to sweep grass and leaves off and simple to stow after use. If you have one of those "through" small lockers - the width of the MH - fits nicely.... B-)
