Mountain_Biker
Hello Can anyone advise please on the best underseal to use on the wooden bits under motorhomes please? Thanks
Guest 1footinthegrave
I'm certainly no expert, but if it was me I would use a micro-porous product like Sadolin, the last thing you want to do is to use something that will hold moisture in when the surface film eventually gets breached as is the case with oil based paints. Just hope you don't mean wood that has been used to replace steel, like I discovered in the sixties on my Commer camper van LOL :-)
Rayjsj
Why just the wooden bits ? it's the 'metal bits' that tend to rust and degrade. I would suggest 'Waxoyl' for both, prefererably applied under high pressure, into all the nooks and crannies. Ray

Overdrive
Waxoyl everytime! I use it on the underside of my 1958 MGA which has a wooden floor. David
