FRANKP60
Can any one advise ,I have a Peugot Boxer 2004 April base motor home with a rubbish radio ,was looking at getting better one with MP3 incorporated.Have been told by Halfords that the van might have Multi Plex wiring system ,which would make it harder to fit .anyone know about this. Please
How Much
Ive got the same van complete with rubbish radio. Ive not thought about swapping it, but a call to peugeot would soon tell you about the wiring type, i would think. But, even with a 'decent' radio, id guess the noise of the van would drown it out whilst on the move, or, deafen you when you slowed down if it was cranked up above the road/van noise. Ill just add that ive added a second set in the hab side, complete with aux/mp3 to plug in the lappy. This is the only time we personaly really need a decent set, when were are 'camped'. alf
Frank The Standard loom is the previous generation of Boxer/Ducato/Relaysuch as yours . The current seies of vans the X250 generation uses CAN BUS communication, sometimes also referred to as multiplex. Alf
