Camelot Parts

I have a 1989 'F' reg. Fiat Camelot that I recently bought and I am looking for replacement cushions as the originals are starting to wear badly. I am also looking for the grill that fits onto the front of the gas space heater (Riviera Monaco heater) as mine was missing when I bought it. If anyone could help I would very much appreciate it. regards Mike

For replacement cushions I suggest you do a GOOGLE search on "caravan re-upholstery" as this will retrieve a number of firms specialising in this service, some of which may be close to where you live. For the heater grille you could try try Charles & Son at Poole (tel: 01202 733772 fax: 01202 380007) as they acquired lots of Autohomes spares when the factory closed. Caravan breakers is another possibility.

Many thanks Frank - its appreciated. The only problem is that I know if I go to an upholsterer its going to cost big-time. I was hoping to get some decent cushions from someone who is breaking a Camelot or a Talbot Express? That way, I can have 'original' cushions, but hopefully in a better condition than mine and for a cheaper price than having the seats re-upholstered.

Re your upholstery. A single duvet cover fits both the back rest and seating parts. That gives you a colour scheme you want, not beige!, and easily washed covers. A cheaper solution but not a cheap look. That's what I have done in two campers. Give it a try, you've nothing to lose

Hope the look pleases you Mike. I have dogs so also found this a great way of being able to keep seating clean. In fact single mattress toppers also made seating more comfy. For the dogs, of course! Happy New Year to you too. Regards Linda
