nippermotorhome
Anyone stayed at the campsite in Beaugency in France. The site is called Camping Municipal Val Flow? We are going at the end of May.
silverbike
We've stayed there a couple of times. It's a large site with adequate facilities - nothing special but perfectly OK and you can walk into town. What particularly did you want to know? Geoff Tuckley
Yes, we stayed there last year. As has been said, the site is quite adequate and is pleasant enough. You can walk into the town over the bridge and there are a couple of restaurants and bars etc. Only stayed a couple of days as we were in transit to the south. Quite busy at the time but there is plenty of room on the site. There is also an aire on the oposite side of the river. Good luck.
vindiboy
There is a good free Aire on the town side of the river at Beaugency.
nippermotorhome
Is it over the bridge then left as per looking on google earth. The walk back to town I believe is only 10 mins? Can we buy essentials on site?
dwaviation
Nice enough little site. We had a few 'traveller' chums on site as well but they were no trouble at all. Facilities are nothing special. Small cafe on site which was closed in June when I was there. Can be a bit boggy, Mozzie alert...
