Hopesy
Hi, we're off to Germany in June, will i need to get an adapter for the EHU or will the Euro blue plug and french style two pin cover it? We'll be using sites mostly with maybe a few nights on stellplatz.
Poult
Hi Hopesy You'll be fine with your current plugs. As always, check polarity. Enjoy Germany, and have a beer for me !! ;-)
Robinhood
It's 99.9% certain you will be ok, (depending on how and where you obtained your French two pin), but you can check in advance. The French and German sockets/plugs are of the same size, and the live/neutral pins are in the same position. The earth arrangement is different, however, with the French earth being achieved by a male pin in the socket engaging with a hole in the plug; the German system, however, has "edge" earth contacts in the socket which engage with metal contacts down the side of the plug. Most of the continental plugs have both arrangements, making them work safely in both French and German sockets - it is easy to check yours, and I would be almost certain that it will have both. AliB
Many of the German camp sites have the hook-up points along way from the pitches. Worth while having a cable extension.
