We have hired through a large company before and it was very expensive so we thought this may be a cheaper way of doing it. The problem is that the vehicle insurance becomes prohibitively expensive if you want to cover for 'Hire and Reward' which is what this is. If you mean small companies who might be cheaper, look in the relevant ad pages of MMM - but I'd again be surprised if you find anyone significantly less expensive.
