onecal
Hi, Coming from the U.K. no problem, no need for pet passport or chip. Most sites have dog walks and the people are very dog friendly. Dogs are walked on leads, and as walking has become sort of a big pastime in Ireland you may see many an OWNER being brought for a walk by a canine friend. Mel B
No problem at all with taking dogs from the UK to any part of Ireland - we've done it a couple of times and will be doing it again at the end of the month! :-D Forgot to say, you might be interested to know that only one ferry company allows small dogs to be taken up to the lounges in a proper carrier and that is Stena Line - we're going from Stranraer to Belfast and I have this confirmed in writing. Our little dog Lily is terrified of ferries so she'll be going 'upstaris' with us, whilst our other dog, Romy, who's too big to go in a carrier, will staying in the camper and have a nice snooze hopefully as it doesn't bother her. And another thing .... :D you can use your Tesco vouchers towards the cost of the travel and you don't pay for dogs to go either! :->
