The most efficient are monochrystaline silicon. The one fitted to my m/h is 100 watt. You will also need a suitably rated controller so as not to fry your batteries. After that it depends on getting one at the right price, e.bay have some now and again. Don't bother buying at m/h shows as you will pay top money. If you don't have the skill / knowledge to install it yourself, get it done by someone who's done it before. You will also need installation brackets to mount it to your van. Don't screw the brackets to your roof, de-grease the area well and use sikaflex adhesive/sealer. You can get all the info' you need by having a look on the web and various forums.

Modern multichrystaline are nearly as good as monochrystaline nowadays. Go for a well known name. I used BP solar from Marlec Engineering (The Rutland wind generator people) and that 80 watt panel produced the same as a 125 watt rated panel from Kryocera.
