mirage
I am sure many of you will be aware but for anyone who is`nt Toll Booths are no longer manned in France so if you pay cash make sure you have plenty of change and the wife has long arms as the payment points are positioned for either a car or a truck leaving a van in the middle (there is an attendant to help if problems occur). One booth took a long time to show required amount which is also a bit daunting, expect delays at very busy periods! They are also starting to remove the Speed Camera Warning signs. coach2000
Not all booths are unmanned. It depends on time of day, location, or if it is a peage with many booths. ie Senlis on way to Paris. I saw Paybooths open in several places over the last 3 days. Some of the small peages are manned, Caussade being one I came thru yesterday Clive.
