monty
I have never used Norfolkline before, but was going to give them a try at the end of August. Unfortunately I cannot find a suitable crossing for my hightop VW as it comes in at 2.46m, and there is no availabilty in the less than 2.5m category. There is availability in the less than 2.4m category - does anyone have any experience of how accurate you need to be? Can I chance it?
spospe
Monty I would ask DFDS (that is what Norfolk Line is called these days) for their opinion. There is no point in your booking and then being rejected as you try to board the ship. We have often used this line and noticed that usually there is a large margin allowed for error in the height department, but they must cater for all eventualities and movement (imagine a rough crossing and your 'van bouncing up and down a lot). Ask, it's safer.
thebishbus
Hi. Why not just book on with the higher vehicles, we find that our 10ft high M/H goes on with the lorries. Brian B. ps. Are these heights correct, seem close to me to have two seperate booking heights. ?
