bazooka Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 My transit hatchback was awkward to turn the gas on with our bikes on the back,i use to loosen the handle bars on the bike nearest to the van and turn them away from the van this allowed the door to rise and give me access to the gas locker on route.they then had to be put back to use the bike.I have now cut about 1" off the near side handlebar and the door lifts up enough to access the gas bottle without altering the handlebars.
