Tight water filler cap.

Over time the lockable filler cap tends to get harder and harder to turn.

The washer and cap get gummed up with a black film.

Clean up the surfaces before giving a spray with silicon lubricant obtained from a local plumbers merchants (according to the tin its ok for incidental use on food machinery ). Makes a double handed pain threshold job dead easy.

We smear a little olive oil on ours from time to time on the seals and that works quite well.
