snowie Posted October 12, 2011 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Hi again; before we last went away in our van I wrote complaining about the noise that our sliding door makes when being closed. We have a panelvan conversion. Well on our last trip, at Arques in orthern France, I saw exactly what I want! The beautifully silent and easy closing action was on a"mainstream" panelvan. I think it was an Auto-Trail? A panelvan sold for conversion, brand new and never seen a double glazing contractor in its life! I suspect that the necessary components are not available as a retrofit item, and probably the software needed to make it work. If it was it would be expensive; but it would sell; I'm sure.
