Stewart Beck
Recently acquired a Nu Venture Rio Sand conversion based on a 54 plate Citroen Dispatch van. I am having problems finding the correct tyre pressures for my 205/65 R15 tyres. Can anyone advise?
Sammy
I suggest you take your van to a weighbridge, get total weight and individual axle weights, and then phone the tyre manufacture's 'Customer Services'. I did this with Michelin and got first class service- over the phone -then followed up in writing. Regards, Sammy
Uncle Bulgaria
After going to a weighbridge and establishing the fuly laden load for each axle you could also try the TyreSafe web site at http://www.tyresafe.org/media-centre/latest-news/103-motorhome-tyre-leaflet-available-from-tyresafe. (although when I just tried it I received an error message). You should be able to download a document that will give you the cold inlation pressure for your size tyre as a function of axle load. Also make sure the Load Index stated on your tyre walls is big enough for the measured axle load. Richard.
