This may come as a surprise to those of you not living in Las Vegas, but there are more Catholic Churches than Casinos. Not surprisingly, some worshippers at Sunday services will give casino chips, rather than cash when the basket is passed. Since they get chips from many different casinos, the Churches have devised a method to collect the offerings. I too worry about the influence of the Church and how they force other species to submit to their will. But before posting such inflammatory, untrue and Chipmonkaphobic garbage such as this, I would have spent a couple of minutes doing a quick web search as any google search would prove categorically that this story is untrue. What a despicable anti religious, Chipmonkaphobe person you are Flicka – Chipmonks are cute, kind and furry little animals who would not willingly take part in any sort of gambling! This is a blatant lie and has been circulating for several minutes. You should be ashamed of yourself Flicka for suggesting that they are. Sec. of the Chipmonk Appreciation Society let me tell you that chipmonks have feelings and they can be hurt emotionally. I do hope the mods pull this post because I've never seen such agrizoophobic remarks on a public forum. Guest Tracker Posted November 3, 2011 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Very sad - if ever the Chipmunks get to see or hear this story I am not sure what painful emmotional effect it will have on poor Alvin, Simon and Theodore (thank you Wikipedia) - let alone the damage it could do to their fine singing voices.
