I think you could find a 2006/7 Compass / Avanteguarde 115 on the new x250 chassis for somewhere around the same price or a little more , which has roughly the same layout , but with a side door that would enable you to fit a bike rack to the rear if required, but they are a bit hard to find as they are quite a popular motorhome.

Am I looking at the same van, the one in the link is 14k,

I believe you are 1foot. Do you think it is too dear?

An interesting one for someone Mel, the automatic door might save those that were posting about thew noise their sliding door makes at night, LoL! :-D

Hi Basil

It's an Autocruise Vista (Marquis dealer model)

Quick look at others on the market.

http://cars.mitula.co.uk/cars/autocruise-vista-sale

It appears to be around the right for LIST price, (subject to all the necessary checks, of course & depending on any discount negotiable)

The seller is a Fiat dealer, so it should have at least some mechanical warranty.

Not sure how reasonable the price is for this van but from the pictures looks tidy, just noticed it whilst looking through the vans for sale for a DIY PVC.

Bas,

as flicka says it's an Autocruise, I personally like the idea of the entrance door in the rear, You can park 'tighter' in Car parks and still have access. And you get all that 'Extra' internal room down both sides, because no 'space is used up by a 'door'. (ok, you lose the rear) but you know what i mean.

Autocruise's of that era were very well built, just the cab is a 1st edition Sevel, after the old 'Talbot' type.

And have some bad Traits, mainly gearbox. and draughty cabs.

Funny thing is Bentley, which is run by the old Autocruise owner, have recently released a 'Modern Version' of this Van, called the 'Cerise', which I had a good look over, at the end of last Year. About the nearest thing to a 'Tardis' as I have come across. (for the internal vs external space...not the time travel 'bit' !!). http://www.bentleymotorhomes.co.uk/cerise-gallery.html

Ray.
