FRANKP60 Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 Hi to all you Tom tom experts ,Have loaded to my Tom Tom Europe XL 30 Central Europe to include Czech Rep for next trip. To do this had to remove and save to computer Northern Europe which included UK ,When I took Sat nav to garden and got the satelilites to come on Sat nav tried to get route to Prague but it kkeeps come up no suitable GPS location . Now my question!! is it because it will only find its way once we reach the other side of the pond ie,Dunkque ,dont want to find I have a problem once over water. tonyishuk Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 I guess the message relates to not geting a map fix because there are no UK maps and the fix is outside the map boundary. I would suggest that if you can find the satellite setup option in the tomtom, it should show that the unit is reciving the satelites' signal, (rather like a bar chart showing signal strengths) even if not displaying a position.
