geoff
Thanks for that Derek, I tried the tourist boards websites in Germany and all I could get were web pages. Web pages are alright if you can pinpoint items like Hotel, Munich, under £, 5 star, etc but when you are trying to find out what a country offers I prefer brochures cos you can read them anytime , anywhere, apart from which, Im not in the habit of carrying electronic gear everywhere I go. Syd
Hi Geoff Again a diversion Dont miss out Dachau concentration camp on your way down through Germany At the bottom of Germany and just over the border into Switzerland there is also the Rhinefalls at a place called Schaffenhousen or Schafhousen The fairly large waterfalls of the Rhine are well worth a look Anyway have a nice journey, when I get home in ten days time I will post an excellent campsite in Salzburg that is pretty convenient for all of the sights
