THE SHEPHERD
Is there any reason why a normal home TV with all the bells cannot be taken on tour, as it seems that for the smaller 12v/230v tvs one pays a lot of money.
hallii
Cello C16100F 15 INCH HD READY 1080i LED TV WITH DVD AND USB PVRv from Amazon is £134 and the spec. says it can be used on 12v, (although I would ask them to be a bit more specific on that!). Any 230V TV will work from 12v providing you use a suitable invertor to produce 12v but does use a bit more battery power. H
Frankkia
Also check that the tv you are buying has the connectivity you require. The Cello has a scart as well as HDMI but some of the newer sets on the market (and this includes the new Avtex) only has HDMI, Antenna and satellite dish inputs. Where this makes a difference is if you have other things you want to plug into the set e.g. the scart or composite connections from a satellite receiver (non HD sky box) or an older DVD player.
