Eddie..Great video(and soundtrack ;-) !),that's a niffy little camera..

..but maybe you should try to get the mod's to re-titled the thread...

"The Judge goes to Spain..Does the site meet with everyones' approval...?"... :-S

(lol)

You find most who comment negatively have never even been there. Most of em can only stretch the umbilical cord as far as france and thats it.... pitiful really, trudging round a bleak France in sou'wester and wellys :D

what is bugging me is I cant get these photos under 109K can anyone help?

.....whilst I use Adobe software to handle my pictures, if you're using vanilla Windows 7 the "Paint" program supplied (found in the "accessories" on the start menu) will resize Jpegs quite happily.

Open the program, open your picture, choose the "resize" option from the "home" tab and a percentage or pixel size (whilst keeping the aspect ratio). Then save the resized photo as a Jpeg.

You'll no doubt have to experiment a bit to find what percentage or pixel size drops it to the appropriate (under 100k) size, but once done, it should be roughly repeatable for other pictures.

The sites nearest to the sea front areTorreta and El Raco which both allow dogs and Villasol which doesn't. The pitches at Raco are all 10mtrs x 8mtrs, whereas the Torreta ones vary in size.

Thanks James :D............hope to spend Jan/Feb out there next year........starting at La Manga or Marjal and finishing of at Benidorm ;-)...............unless we manage to sell up, then we'd stay in Spain until late spring B-)

Thanks Ed for the insight, well done .It's all about enjoyment and that sure looks good.

Regards to all,

Brendan

Your welcome Brendan!......you would think this is the way we holiday all the time, from the naysayers on here.. it was our first out of season winter motorhome holiday and we loved it.We are of touring next month, south Germany/Austria/Slovenia/ Croatia/ across to Italy/ Umbra/Tuscany/ lake Garda..and home. I then intend to miss as much of our winter as I can, this means two winter trips of 50 days oct/nov & mar/apr (the max on my insurance) so for that it will be Spain again. India for Christmas for a family tour...

Liked the bike video Eddie just goes to prove loonies on electric bikes should be locked up. :D

Where about are you going in India? We are spending November in India, nightmare trying to work out their trains lucky we have a couple of contacts in India who will sort it out for us. Hate the idea of having to book trains a month in advance we like to add lib on holiday pick & choose at the time where to go & how long to stay, once there don't want to have to resort to flying.

Trip sounds great at Xmas. If you have'nt been to the Taj before, (Which I feel you may have done) do try to see it at both Sun-rise and sun set, MAGIC, so many coulors!

PJay

Thanks! But no never before, only Goa a few years back.... We are doing the sunrise not sure if time for sunset as we have a busy tour schedule...Thing is wife has now taken redundancy and intending to work part time.... so we could have had more time and a more relaxed tour AND cheaper flights!DAMN! & BLAST! :D (Christmas prices horrendous, a few days either side makes a hell of a difference to flight prices) ..

Great video eddie, made me sick as a parrot that we're not still there. The point is it's not the size of pitch that matters, it's having a good time and being sociable with your neighbours. :D

....but your lawn is pathetic compared to your neighbours, lol!

Ah yes! astro turf!lol well spotted, he is a Dutch guy who lives there full time (retired) The dutch tend to overwinter Oct/Nov through to May. Those living full time have to fly home in May to present themselves to the authorites to prove they are still alive..Just so theu can continue to get their benefits/pensions *-)
