Hymer Parts

Recommended Posts

I was in Newark Brownhills last week and overheard 2 members of staff saying that they had 'got rid' of nearly all the Hymer parts. The last time I looked on the Ebay site they only had door catches left.

I notice that on the E-bay page under the contact details they are saying

the address is still " Clifton, Preston ".

You need to be aware that this site is now " Campbells Motorhomes " and

is now fully open. They moved from the Lostock Hall site.

I only live a few miles from this place so i pass it regular.

Regards.

My understanding is that Hymer are looking for a UK agent, don't be surprised if Campbells go for it !

Or maybe we'll see Madison's making a come back !!!

Often go tyre kicking there.

Does this confirm the rumour that Brownhills are no longer agents at all? Travelworld and Lowdhams are reported to be agents, who else?

I bought my Exsis from Preston 2 years ago,my first Hymer was bought when it was still Madisons,John Lunt was very astute when he got the franchise from Erwin Hymer. The venture capitalists who bought it didn't have any knowledge of the market, sadly now suffering from the' profit at all costs' motive.

.....see (for answers to both questions):

The addition of the "Nottingham" site to the original Lowdhams arrangement at Huddersfield came as little surprise, and they rapidly had a set of the "backlog" vehicles on display.

AIUI there is still a search for a few more dealers to plug gaps (the NW presumably being of interest to yourself)
