Wife going to New York soon..If she picks me up a Kindle touch (USA £60 UK £109) will I be able to register it with Amazon here to buy books?

 

I am giving up waiting for the Kindle Fire *-)

Hi Judge,

ues, that should be fine. Also, for reading the Kindle touch is a much better device that the Kindle fore - the latter being no more than a well priced Android tablet i.e. with a standard screen, the Kindle touch has the e-ink screen and although just black and white, is far easier on the wyes and can even be read with ease in bright sunshine (for example in Benidorm B-) ).

 

Colour e-ink should be available next year, but that's another story....

Daughter has just had a Kindle touch for her Birthday, she says its not as good as my Kindle 3g with keyboard. More fiddly to use because of the screen covered in text, you have to find the points to operate the touch.

 

Hmmm thanks David, may as well stick to basic model then...
