Guest Tracker
We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the 'seniors special' was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for £2.99. 'Sounds good,' my wife said. 'But I don't want the eggs...' 'Then, I'll have to charge you £3.49 because you're ordering a la carte,' the waitress warned her. 'You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?' my wife asked incredulously. 'YES!' stated the waitress. 'I'll take the special then,' my wife said.. 'How do you want your eggs?' the waitress asked. 'Raw and in the shell,' my wife replied. She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.

CliveH
Excellent Tracker I had the same issue with Tescos once - I do not like cooked tomatoes and so asked for something else as a replacement and the lady refused. "No more than my jobs worth etc etc." So I went individual items but when at the check out said nothing and got charged the same as I always did! Watch out for these job's worths - they are allowed to breed you know.
malc d
It's a good story but I find it difficult to believe. Would Tracker really pay as much as £2.99 for a meal ? ;-)
Guest peter
I had to do a double take on that as well Malc. Tracker > RESTAURANT > £2.99 for a breakfast. More like his wife had the breakfast in a roadside caff and they then took the two eggs back to the van and he made her make him a two egg omelette.
