Pete-B
Hi, I've got a Bessie on a new Fiat chassis, on top of the dash there's a TomTom connection point for the sat nav. I've also got a Go Live 1005 Camper and Caravan sat which, for sure, won't fit in this connection, do I need some sort of adapter for this? I'd appreciate any help or advice if someone else has come across this problem because I asked my local main commercial Fiat dealer who looked at me with a blank face evan though I pointed out the new vans they were selling had this fitted. I also got a similar response when I emailed TomTom, so much for customer service eh! Thanks for any help.
WhiteCheyenneMan
I had the same problem with my Seat car back in 2009. The dealer didn't know and nor did Seat! Halfords knew though! I had to buy a £30 (2009) adapter to plug into the dashboard mount and onto which you plugged the TomTom. It was a bit of a #-**:$ to fit the TomTom. but was great once installed. flicka
Hi Pete This problem has been discussed on the Swift Talk forum & there is one specific Tom Tom model to suit the Ducato mounting. The Fiat system is "Blue & Go", but a few people on there have advised that Dealers appear unaware & that you will also need a software update to make the thing work http://www.swift-talk.co.uk/forum/topics/blue-and-me
