nightrider
Dont know if its the same wherever you live but the ice cream vans with their bells and chimes are all over the place as are all the scrap metal dealers who are now touring all the streets with their loud speakers appealing for any old scrap metals, I think quiet sunday afternoons are now a thing of the past. kelly58
We get the scrappy boys in their transits up and down our lane on black bag day every week with eyes like hawks.
nightrider
I live down at the bottom end of a cul de sac and we are under siege by these itinerant scrap dealers, my next door neighbour is almost paranoid about them ever since they nicked a cast iron bench from his front garden, as soon as he hears a diesel engine he is out like a shot to keep an eye on them. David Dwight
If they come round our way there are several of us in our road who make a point of making sure they know we are watching them, we dont see so many now.
