CliveH
The annual August Meteor shower kicks off tonight. Those in the country with little light polution will see it the best. If there is little cloud they say there should be about 10 an hour with peak numbers about 11 pm. (Watch out for any green ones and any walking plants you see in the morning 8-) )

ips
Only realised this morning what it was, I saw flashing lights in the sky when I was in back garden having a cigar at about 10pm mrs and mini ips reckoned I was seing things untill mini ips informed me that she had seen it through her bedroom sky light. I put it down to summat man made like a house alarm flashing or summat didnt think that much of it as we have the occasional wierd stuff going on, like fireworks in the distance or the bloke across the field in his helicopter doing stuff. Wish I had paid more attention to it now, will it be hapening tonight ??
