On the Costa Del Sol ( and Costa Blanca) there is "Talk Radio Europe", or "TRE", which is English language radio, with it's studio in the Costa del Sol area.

On the Costa Blanca it's on 95.3fm, but I seem to recall that its broadcast frequency down on the Costa Del Sol is different. Google for it and it's frequency down there.

But it's transmitter will only cover the coastal Costa del Sol. Go outside of its relatively small range and you'll lose their signal.

Bear in mind also that the radio station system over here is total mayhem......it's officially supposed to be regulated, with licences being issued by the Telecoms Ministry in Madrid for allocated frequencies, but in practice it doesn't happen as there's no real enforcement system nationally.

Thus there are gazillions of local, pirate, technically not legal, local radio stations all over Spain.

All just broadcast on whatever frequency they like, and thus "bleed" all over others on approximately the same frequencies. Thus when travelling, it's a nightmare trying to find/keep a specific station for more than a few miles.

But if you mean UK radio stations, as in Radio 1, Radio 2 etc. then there is no way you'll get those over the airwaves when such a massively long way from their UK-only transmitters!

They can be listened to over the internet here in Spain via the BBC website, but not via any radio set.
