corkbuoy
The red battery alarm light on the control panel in my van ( Burstner ) flashes when I switch on a few lights. Ammeter indicates a draw of about 7 amps. What does this alarm mean ?
Brambles
I do not really know butr can only imagine it means your battrey voltage is low. This could be happening because the battery is needing charged or internal resistance is increasing with age.
onecal
Hi Pat, On your model,it is informing you that your leisure battery is below 11V,,,,if the leisure battery is let go below 10.5V the transformer/rectifier will turn off all 12V DC appliances. After fully charging your leisure battery, pull the fuses one by one to see where the draw (7Amps) is coming from ....then investigate that circuit to solve the high "draw" from your leisure battery , if there is one,Regards,Brendan
corkbuoy
Thanks for replies. Seems like the battery is past it as it behaves the same after charging.
Brambles
Have you checked the electrolyte levels? Might be well below the top of the plates. Jon
