Hi All

I am new to this site, but have been motorhoming for approx.. 2 years. We are looking for a larger m/home as our 2 young grandchildren are now asking to come with us! However we cannot seem to find a van that meets our requirements. ie. A 4 berth with half dinette/table with 2 forward facing belted travelseats, a washroom with seperate shower, a U shaped rear lounge with 6' side berths for us oldies, and if poss. a fridge/freezer which is set slightly off of ground level. We have seen plenty of 4 berths with a rear corner d/bed, but do not want that. Age of van poss. 2007 to 2011. Any suggestions please, !!

Hi Judy & welcome to the forum.

One that fits your requirement list - Autotrail Savanah (with the half dinnete & 2 belted forward facing seats option)

The "standard" layout has opposing side benches up front, but I've seen a few with the above option, which also retains the nearside side bench.

"The Savannah features long twin single beds at the rear, fitted with adjustable back supports. There's a central washroom, separate shower cubicle and fully fitted kitchen. The spacious lounge is towards the front." Also has the seperate shower / toilet.

Also the front can be converted to a low level bed, so also give option of either the "Hi-Line",(overcab bed) Lo-Line (low profile) or "Super Lo-Line" (low profile with overcab window)

Possible downside - It is a bit on the longer side @ 7.6m

Then see the "Model Layout" (centre screen) it scrolls right to show the options.

Hi Judy & welcome to the forum.

Won't the Apache 700 and Scout also suit their needs?

Apache 700 will not give the twin singles in the rear lounge - transverse double is 1.5m wide so not long enough for singles.

The Scout would be a suitable alternative - twin singles in rear lounge, in 1/2 dinette format.

Difference is that you lose the forward n/s bench & the 1/2 dinette is set further back,

depends which kitchen layout best suits. Kitchen is central on the Savanah or front n/s on Scout.
