My pal still has one and for years we toured all over in it. People love you when your in one of them. You just feel good driving along in one. They are iconic and IMO the king of campers. But would you want to drive either today. I had a beetle once as I thought they looked cute. Got rid of it pronto when I nearly froze to death with the inadequate heating system. For what they cost new you can purchase a propper motorhome that you can actually live in for extended periods, without falling over each other.
