4cls
We picked up an Ace Airstream 680 from Alan Kerr in August this year and they cannot tell us what the gubbins is under the drivers seat, it has a lot of pipe work,a small fan and a lot of electrical wire every where. There does not appear to be any switches to control all this gear SO, can any one tell us what it does etc?
Guest peter
Sounds like a suplementary heater that works off the engine cooling system. There should be a fan switch somewhere in the van, maybe on the dashboard. There's a review here. http://www.practicalmotorhome.com/review/motorhome/2006-ace-airstream
Iain Strachan
Hi and welcome, we have the same in our van and yes its an extra heater for the cab when the vehicle is running. The switch on ours is on the unit. Have not had to use it yet. Cheers and enjoy your van.
4cls
Many thanks for the help, we found the switch lower right on the dash below the steering. :-)
