Coachman
I know that there has been many threads on these over the years, but as many have been improved since, my question is a hard wire version as good as a wireless one? . Appreciate comments.I might add in my place is its for a Mobilvetta Driver 52 which is only 17ft6" long.
lennyhb
Use the search facility you will find plenty of info. I think you have your question back o front. Hard wired cameras are far superior, wireless ones are notorious for interference & picture break up. Hard wired ones are almost as easy to fit and a lot more reliable. Derek Uzzell
The following very recent forum thread seems to cover this issue pretty well. (A specialist's view on wireless-v-wired systems is provided in AliB's 3 December 2012 4:20 PM posting): http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Hints-and-Tips/reversing-cameras/29688/#M343809 There are useful summaries of the pros/cons/features of reversing-aid systems here: http://www.conrad-anderson.co.uk/reversingcameras/camerasystems-home.htm http://www.outdoorbits.com/motorhome-reversing-cameras-a-10.html
