Guest Steve Knight
If anyone is interested in a low cost reversing camera, Big W (woolworths) in Loughborough is selling their radio linked camera and monitor for £39.99. It will work off mains or low voltage. I tried it out on 12v and it works fine. The camera is not waterproof so I stand it on the rear unit of my Autosleeper Talisman pointing out of the window. The monitor is on top of th efridge unit. When I turn back to reverse I look at the monitor and se all ther is to see!
Guest Peter
Hello Steve, I noticed these in my local Woolies and was thinking the same way as you. However, I saw that the camera was 9v dc. Does this work off your 12v system OK? If it does I might try it out. Thanks for the tip.
Guest Steve Knight
I have used the camera at 12v in the van ok. I measured the voltage out of the powerpack for the camera as 14v! Itseems not to be too sensitive to voltage.
