BGD
DSFK: Chinese manufactured vans. To Chinese quality specs. Made of cheese. Very, very bad cheese. With bearings made of poo. Sloppy dog poo. For 23 quid. No thank you.
Alan D
I had noticed these vehicles in Filey, Yorkshire and I wondered what they were as I had not seen them before. I thought the grille looked bmw and they were electric as they are so quiet, the council are using the pick up variant for maintenance and gardening duties. I will ask one of the drivers at easter when I am there what`s to do. The chinese are already making vehicles here, so maybe we have to get used to them. Perhaps ok for short runs but would they be up to the hammer we hand out on long trips abroad ? Everyone castigated me for buying a new toyota in 1970 ( jap c**p) and it turned out to be the first of many brilliant cars, so who knows?. The chinese do not have a good name for quality on some items in the past but they are quick learners, so we will see. Alan.
Guest JudgeMental
The vans are under £7000 so a better move would be to get either a DIY or bespoke conversion.. Then probably cheapest new van on market....
Derek Uzzell
The camper-van section of the DFSK website is here: http://www.dfskuk.com/small-campervans The campers were exhibited at the recent NEC Show and there seem to be plenty of UK DFSK dealerships. I'm not aware that any leisure magazine has test-reported on the campers yet. (Plenty of on-line stuff if you GOOGLE on "DFSK campers")
