Rattling window blinds

Love our 56 reg Symbol but the blinds rattling when in motion drive one to distraction. Anyone any ideas to shut them up? :-D

More practically:

 

There's some sheets of sort of furry stuff you can get, with self adhesive backing ( I've seen it in whiet and brown at DIY shops).

 

Maybe you can cut this stuff into little bits that you can attach to the window frame internally, at the point where the blind parts are rattling against it.

A little aside, on our globecar we found the 'click stop' stays rattled, a knicker elastic tie near the top sorted that out.

I had the same problem and found that the blinds ratling was comeing from the actual cassette they are in . Remedy take them apart and increase tension on the internal spring.

They also rattle on our Globecar so we use some oddments left over of the soft rubbery non slip stuff put on shelves. We push a small piece in top and bottom before we set off and, lo and behold,no rattles.
