Coachman
I have posted a few things about our van and its problems, however on the 6/5 decided to go abroad rather than Scotland to see how a 2.o JTD engine goes.We went through Alps down to Grenoble and then to Millue.doing about 2000 miles . I am really pleased how it behaved, using the gearstick it sailed over all the passes. Fuel consumption was 25/29 mpg on each tank load. The only set back was 3 days of torrential rain but at one time it was 28 degrees, other thing were my wife cannot get use to the curtain in the shower and last the bl--- step went wrong again ie would not retract, this will be the fourth time that Caravan Tech repaired it. Other than that it was a good break. Bye the way we used Aires and going by the book found two aires by LAT/LONG were miles out, one meant a 60 mile back. Another thing was the TOM TOM , ours is the700 which is now about 5/6 years old which kept going"blue " with no signal , this happened nearly every time at complicated junctions.
