I have the new one, old one broke and whilst I have the 'green bit' in my hand the remainder is still in situ. Is this possible to get out? Derek Uzzell Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 I believe this is the design of switch you've got http://tinyurl.com/luxtpwn I think you just lever (carefully!) the old switch out of the fridge's fascia with a suitable tool (eg. a screwdriver). You'll note from the picture that there are mouldings on the upper and lower surfaces of the switch's plastic body that will hold the switch firmly in place in the fascia. JohnP Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 It should just lever out using a flat screwdriver behind the top and bottom lip as Derek suggests.
